Procedure

Dissolve the phase A ingredients in the water, using a suitable dispersion unit to disperse the thickeners (e.g., Silverson, Ultra Turrax). Heat to 75-80°C. Prepare phase B and heat to 75-80°C. Add phase B to phase A at 70-75°C and homogenize. Cool to 50°C under gentle agitation. Add phase C and homogenize. Add phases D, E and F one by one. Add phase G with slow stirring.

Properties

Appearance—Shiny white cream with gray spheres; Viscosity—20,000–33,000 mPa∙s (10 rpm, Brk, RVDV-E, T-C, after 24 hrs. at room temperature); pH: 6.5–7.0.
